CEC has a strong commitment to employing and mentoring apprentices and providing long term career paths for our team.

We make development and training a high priority.  It’s this approach that saw CEC win the 2008 Queensland Training Awards Employer of the Year (South West Qld region).

We also support school students seeking work experience and we regularly conduct student site visits providing them with information and an education of the electrical industry.

CEC aims to employ 2 to 3 new apprentices each year.  Applications will be accepted all year round, however will not be considered until November/December.  Once the selection has been made we generally employ them from February the following year, allowing school leavers a well deserved break.
